Halve the amount of force needed to cock your crossbow with this rope cocking aid
Step 1
First start by placing the front of your crossbow on the ground and putting your foot through the stirrup. This will provide the stability you need for cocking your crossbow.
Step 2
Lay the rope cocking device on the stock. Many crossbows include a shallow groove near the back of the stock that is meant for a rope cocker. Lay the rope of your cocking device into this groove with one hook & roller on each side.
Step 3
With the hook facing outwards, place it under the crossbow string as close to the shooting rail as possible. Do this on both sides.
Step 4
After verifying your hooks are in the proper position, grab the handles of your rope cocking device and begin to pull up.
When you begin to pull you will be in a bent over position and as you pull back you should stand up in order to use more of your back and shoulders to help cock the bow. Once the bow is completely drawn the string will lock into place.
You can now load an arrow into the bow and shoot. Remember to ALWAYS make sure the safety is on before loading an arrow.
