Vintage Australian Army AB (Ankle Boots) with Sherpa Sole

These genuine Australian army issue ankle boots are the ideal outdoor companion.

The shows are made from high quality top-grain leather, shaped and manufactured in Australia, mostly by Rossiters boots (Rossi) in Adelaide or Oliver and Stevens boots in Victoria between the late 1950's and early 1970's. The soles are made from durable, non-slip, heat resistant rubber manufactured mainly in England by Itshide in their commando style. Leather is naturally water resistant as it is not a woven fabric and the Gusseted tongue on these boots helps add water resistance.
