The welded floors and inverted seams keep water out along with the fully seam-sealed fly. The side entry on this tent allows for additional shade with a large peaked awning.

The large interior is spacious to fit up to 8 people and has enough space for 2 queen airbeds! There is plenty of ventilation throughout the unti along with the large windows with roll-up rear flaps, and internal removable room divider for privacy. The awning on the Coleman Northstart Instnat Up 8 Tent is purpose built to provide ample shade. the design, however, isn't ideal for inclement weather, so when the weather turns south, we do recommend dropping the awning where possible.
